Our Product Ranges
Stainless Steel PCs
We have been building and supplying IP rated Stainless Steel touch PCs to major manufacturers for over 15 years.
These are designated 'Cobalt' and are available with a range of screen sizes, PC specifications and connectivity options.
The case, internal sub-frame, gaskets, I/O plate and many other components are to our own design and manufacture. This ensures that not only can we warrant the IP66 rating, we also control the quality.
One point to note is that we only
use 316 grade stainless steel. This is not only harder than the usual
309 grade but critically is more resistant to corrosion caused by
chemical cleaners etc. We believe this is essential to the longevity,
ruggedness and cleanliness of the PC.
As we build these in our own facility we are able to build to you precise needs - whether that be processor, connectivity, memory, storage or mounting.
Finally, as we have design and build facilities we can produce bespoke solutions, including prototyping, testing and delivery.
Industrial PCs
Technology is at the heart of most TUFF products and we have gained a great deal of experience over the years in how to build reliable, small devices that can be used 24x7x365. Whilst many of these devices on the market look the same, the quality of the build and components can vary dramatically.
By investing in a TUFF device, you can be sure that we have built your unit to the same high standard as the 1000's of others that have been in constant service at customer's sites for many years.
We have a range of standard case types and we can build these to a variety of specifications - for example, various I/O connectivity, Processors, Memory, GPU and Storage.
In addition, we can build 'from the board up' using the ITX form factor. This allows our customers to choose specific board specifications, processor generation and everything else you can imagine! For such projects we use our 'hidden mount' PC which is ideal for mounting in your own panels or devices as well as for fitting into the TUFF Stainless Steel Range.
PDAs
Our rugged PDAs are available in 3 ranges:
Professional
These are our entry level
devices, still rugged and industrial quality but typically they will
have less connectivity and non-removable batteries. Good for all general
data capture and mobile computing.
Elite
These are excellent every-day
devices, slim but very rugged with exceptional connectivity, they will
have powerful processors, and the latest technology. Batteries will be
removable and docking stations will be optional. Ideal for all
data-capture and mobile computing requirements in Factories, Warehouses,
Logistics etc.
Enterprise Class
The Enterprise range is our ultra-rugged range based on military strength technology. Typically they have all the advantages of Elite but are heavier-duty. Ideally suited to heavy work such as logistics, warehouse, production, construction, field maintenance, yard work or where ruggedness is the first consideration.

Tablets
Our rugged Tablets are available in 3 ranges:
Professional
Still
rugged and industrial quality, these are our entry level devices.
Typically they will be slightly less rugged than the other ranges.
Good for all general data capture and mobile computing.
Elite
These are excellent every-day
devices, slim but very rugged with exceptional connectivity, they will
have powerful processors, and the latest technology. Docking stations
and stands will be optional. Ideal for all data-capture and
mobile/fixed computing requirements in Factories, Warehouses, Logistics
etc.
Enterprise Class
The
Enterprise range is our ultra-rugged range based on military strength
technology. Typically they have all the advantages of Elite but are
heavier-duty. Ideally suited to
heavy work such as logistics, warehouse, production, construction, field maintenance, yard work or
where ruggedness is the first consideration.
Hand Scanners
We offer a range of Hand Scanners to suit many roles. These include Bluetooth devices that will connect to any of our PDAs, Tablets or PCs.
All are covered by our 3-year warranty (T&Cs apply) and are ideal for where you do want to, or cannot use a PDA type scanner, or where you want to tether the scanner to a specific PC or work station.

Industrial All-in-One and Panel PCs
Increasingly there is a need to interact with a wide range of software systems, internet Apps and equipment controls in all areas of the business. This can be in general offices, manufacturing facilities, packing areas, quality labs, despatch offices and site buildings.
In such locations and given the design of many modern systems, a touch-screen PC is often the most convenient and rapid way of interacting. However this places a high demand on the PC with repeated 'taps' to the screen, harsh environments and often, a lack of space or safety issues.
TUFF All-in-ONe PCs are designed with all of these challenges in mind and have a fully bonded and sealed front panel to IP66, sealed slimline rugged case with heat-sink, in-built high quality TUFF PC rated for 24x7x365 use and vesa mounting points on the rear.
Available with a choice of wall, desk or panel mounts.
